Nothing says Merry Christmas like the taste of a Christmas tree light.
Holy schnikies...how did Santa get this downstairs.
We love Christmas.
French toast anyone?
It's not too often that the kids get to hang out with both set of grandparents.

November 2007

Kevin is pretty depressed that the football season is almost over. Hopefully the cougars can win out and beat the Utes!
Nathan attacked Carson and Jackson with some of Mom's extra scrap booking stickers. Silly little boys!
Jackson loves cruising around in his walker. He discovered the wonderful taste of dirt the other day.
Poor little man. Nathan took a dive off of our neighbors couch and did a face place on something. However, even a fat lip doesn't slow Nathan down.Carson and Nathan with their cousin Sidney from Colorado. Thanksgiving rocks when you have a Grandma who teaches first grade and has an extensive knowledge of arts and crafts. The kids love their turkey hats.

Halloween

Marilyn Monroe had a sexy surfer dude husband and three "scary" spider man boys :-)
Everyone thought Kevin was Owen Wilson. Maybe we should have just gone along with that idea.
These costumes were very well used this year. I think they've worn them everyday for the past month. Usually all the boys in the neighborhood had their costumes on and all of them would be out riding their bikes. I've already had to do some sewing repairs, and as you can see in this picture, Nathan needs a little seam fixed in the middle section.
Jackson is so eager to be like his brothers. I know its only months away before he's wrestling on the floor with his brothers so I need to enjoy and soak up these baby stages as much as possible.
All ready for trick or treaters!!!
Happy Halloween

Disneyland cont.

Its a small world after all. How is it that this ride can be so annoying and so fun at the same time. I still have the theme song running in my mind constantly.
Carson practically hyperventilated when he saw all the suckers. It was like a dream come true licking a huge, sticky, very messy sucker.

This was the lady bug ride that spins you around in circles so fast, that one should not have a full belly before riding it.

Disneyland

It took us long enough, but we finally made it to Disneyland. We traveled with Kevin's parents and sister and her family and had a ball. The boys are at the perfect age where all the characters are pretty cool and Nathan barely made the height cut off of 40 inches. We spent three days at both Disneyland and California adventure and rode all the little kid rides you could possibly think of. Some of them more than once like Buzz light year and Monster's Inc. Since the boys did so well on those we thought we would try out Space Mountain....BIG mistake. Although they survived the ride, Carson and Nathan never want to ride it again. We'll see about that :-)
The whole time Carson has told me that he doesn't want to meet Mickey mouse and all the characters, just go to their house and play and ride the rides. But they warmed up pretty good to Mr. Incredible and even Mickey himself.
We got plenty of merry-go rides in!
Our favorite part at California adventure was the Bugs life park. It had so many fun things to do for little kids. We saw a 3-D movie about bugs life, and rode the Bugs bumper cars and then ofcourse they had to find the shooting water. The first day they got their clothes and shoes soaking wet so I thought I had it all figured out on day two when I brought along the pull-ups...that was until one of the workers told me they must have on shoes and a shirt....oh well.

Schauerhamer Cabin

We decided to take a little last minute trip to G&G Schauerhamer's cabin up in Woodland. We had a great time relaxing and the boys had a great time getting dirty.
Carson is really into spider man at the moment. As you can see with his spider man watch and fishing pole, he was having a grand ol time. Both Carson and Nathan got pretty good at casting the line into the river.
It started raining a little around dinner time, but dad sacrificed for us all and cooked our dinner over the fire.
This picture describes our boys very well....pyro maniacs
Jackson didn't do much, but he was well entertained just looking at all his new surroundings. He especially loved looking at the river.

crazy boys

I see London, I see France, I see Carson and Nathans Underpants :-)
They came home from their friends house with a tatoo. Lets just hope this is their first and last one they will ever have.
Jackson has discovered life in the upright position. He loves playing in his saucer, and the johnny jumper.
Allison loves hanging out with her cousins...especially at Grandma's house where they get spoiled all day.

Its Nathan's new and improved "soft" seat...Jackson's bathtub

Park City

We had our Cloward Family Reunion last weekend up at Park City. We stayed at the Mountain side resort and had a wonderful time. We spent most of our time swimming at the pool, we did the alpine roller coaster and just plain relaxed for a few days.
This was Jackson's first time in the pool. He really didn't have any cool reaction to the water. I"m thinking he's still confused and busy trying to figure out his own hands. He looks at them like their from outer space or something.
Carson and Nathan have been my little fishes this summer. We've swam so much that Carson can now swim in the deep end without floaties. His newest thing is going off the diving board screaming as loud as he can before he hits the water.
Carson and Mom going on the roller coaster ride. I was surprised how much he liked going fast. I think we're all ready for Disneyland in October!
Here's Grandma and Grandpa Cloward holding three out of their four favorite grandkids. Jackson was sleeping :-)

Football time

This picture was taken right after Jackson's four month checkup and he's still full of smiles after getting four shots. He's just growing like a weed and trying to toughen up so he can handle his older brothers a little better. He's a whoppin 15 pounds now and his height falls in the 90th percentile. Hmmm.....could this be our future basketball or football player????
If it were up to dad, he probably wouldn't mind watching him on the football field. Kevin is already counting down the days for cougar football. He's flying to California with his brothers and brother in laws for the UCLA game in September.
Mom finally bought lucky charm cereal which is ALL the boys favorite. The only problem with buying this cereal is Carson and Nathan only eat the marshmellows.....thats nutritious!
This is starting to become a morning ritual with Nathan and Jackson taking over the King bed.

cousins

Jackson is already eager and ready to help mom out with the laundry
We had a fun play day with Emily and her kids at G&G Schauerhamers house. Needless to say, it was non-stop fun the entire day. Its amazing how much energy kids have when they get together with their cousins.
a Although Jackson is catching up to Dallin in the height department, Dallin still is ahead with pounds to spare in the weight department :-)

brothers

This is a picture I took with my phone the other night that turned out pretty good I thought. We are extremely blessed to have our three little boys that keep us on our toes.

Fishing

For the 24th of July we decided to go to the fish hatchery with my parents in Ogden. For anyone interested in taking their kids fishing, this is definitely the place to go. There are so many fish and you are likely to catch one within the first five minutes you are there. Carson and Nathan were both so proud of their catches.
Believe it or not, we took all five fish home that we caught that day and grandpa fried them up and they were sure tasty. You really can't get fish any fresher than that :-)
Our so-called family photo without Jackson. He was there, but had just as much fun observing from his stroller.
