Broken Bones

Nathan wasn't this happy while he was getting his arm "set", but he's in high spirits now and thinks his BYU blue cast is pretty cool. I'm pretty sure he's learned his lesson not to jump off the top bunk :-) The x-ray tech in this picture thought it was pretty funny that I was taking pictures of him getting an x-ray. Hey, this is a big deal. This is our first broken bone in the family. And lets face it...we all know that with four boys, this is not the last.

Grandpa Steve was the first to sign the cast

Blessing

Who would have thought that the weather would be warm and beautiful in November. The blessing day was great. Lots of family, lots of good food, and lots of memories.

I wonder if there's a weight limit for our tramp??

Proud Grandparents!!!

2 months

We've made it through the first two months and so far much of Austin's life is depicted from the picture below...spit up after spit up after spit up! Yes, its gross, but we still love him :-)

Its crazy to think we were swinging in the backyard just a couple of days ago and today its snowing outside

One month old

This post is a little late, but these pictures were taken on Austin's one month mark. Has it seriously only been one month....it seems longer

We tried to get a picture of all the boys together, but Jackson was having a nervous meltdown because he had to wear church clothes. He's going through this really convenient stage right now where he MUST pick out his own clothes. If he's not in shorts and a t-shirt...you get this

Baby Austin

The picture many of you have asked for. Pretty exciting eh!
We got to the hospital around 9, broke my water around 10 ish, epidural around 10:30 ish and had the baby at 11:52 am. 7 lbs 9 oz. 201/2 inches long. Lots of dark hair.

Lots of family came right after his birth

Carson was at school.....hence only the three boys in the picture

Grandma Sheryle

Grandpa Sherman.....who Austin's middle name is after

The WHOLE family together for the first time...wow, this picture still kinda trips me out!
